Claudiu Cristea

Claudiu graduated in Mechanics at the Polytechnic Institute of Timisoara and the European Institutions section of the Faculty of Politics and Administrative Science, within the Vasile Goldis University, in Arad.

Throughout the years, Claudiu took part in numerous courses and specializations in the IT domain and in the domain of public administration, organized by the Republican International Institute, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and AutoDesk, whether in country, or abroad (Czech Republic, Spain, England). Claudiu published numerous articles, especially on themes regarding communication, mass-media relations and political systems.

Claudiu’s professional experience includes 15 years of experience in different fields of activity: 4 years of experience working with non-governmental organizations, 8 years of experience in engineering and building design, 8 years in the management of public institutions, out of which 4 as vice-president of the City Council in Arad and 3 years in the management of an IT company.

Claudiu’s experience in the political, administrative and non-governmental area was especially oriented towards project management, internal communication, mass-media communication, image campaign management and implementing the e-Government concept.

Claudiu joined the Ascent Group team as senior consultant and trainer in 2005.
