Minimum wage changes from January 1, 2025

The deadline by which the employer must issue the required documents, as well as the contraventions applicable in case of failure to comply with these obligations, are set out in HG. no. 905/2017 on the general register of employees.
At the same time, upon termination of employment, the employer is obliged to issue to the employee a certificate attesting the type of activity performed by the employee, as well as other information such as salary, duration of employment, seniority in employment and specialty, and an extract from the register (Revisal).
Failure by the employer to comply with or breach of the above obligations constitutes a contravention and is punishable by a fine of between 300 and 1,000 lei.
