Read articleThrough a draft order recently put up for debate, the procedure for granting or revoking the right to file tax returns online on behalf of taxpayers will be simplified by the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF).
Currently, in order to appoint (form 150) or revoke (form 151) a representative to file tax returns online, taxpayers are required to physically visit the ANAF offices. Under the proposed new regulations, this process will be able to be carried out exclusively online (forms will be able to be signed electronically by applicants, who will attach supporting documents and submit them online for approval by ANAF), eliminating the need for physical presence and reducing administrative burdens.
This change aims to facilitate tax compliance by providing taxpayers with a more efficient and faster way to manage their tax return filing authorizations. By digitizing these procedures, ANAF aims to improve interaction with taxpayers and reduce bureaucracy.
In order to be implemented, the draft order must be approved by ANAF and published in the Official Gazette.
