What can you tell us about you?

After finishing the Faculty of Economic Sciences in Timişoara, I also learned the answer to the small question: “What do I want to do when I grow big?”. So I realized then that I would very much like to work in the field of human resources. Why? Because I first suspected that I would like to work with people a lot, and secondly because I thought the human resources processes were interesting. And here I have not been mistaken, I am now 20 years away from that period, practicing in the same field that I find equally interesting. As a matter of fact, I have had some 2 years of time in which I tried logistics too, but things have somehow rearranged and quickly returned back.

During my career, I intersected with all the processes in this area of human resources: Recruitment, personal development, motivation, evaluation, salary and personnel administration. I have been practicing in both domestic and multinational companies. And I can say that in all companies I had a lot to learn, but the most important thing is that everywhere I met nice people I felt them very close to me.

What is your a activity in the company?

At ASCENT I “arrived” in 2019 as a HR Manager. I have joined the team very energetically with the desire to enhance my knowledge. But I think that besides this, I managed to improve my knowledge, I have something new to learn almost every day. And because at any time we have two options: to move forward toward development or to step back in comfort, I always choose the first option. And I have never had anything to lose out of this choice, just to win.

The team has a great impact on me, and I can say that we manage to work well on the team at ASCENT. Our projects often require the input of several colleagues with different skills, and we complement each other very well. Without this cooperation, I do not think that we would have the same results.

How do you spend your free time?

For me the time is extremely valuable, so when the weekend comes, I am always with my family that I consider most important. No matter whether I’m at home or out on trips, I’m sure I’m with them. I love nature, and do not miss a chance to “sink” into nature, and I always relax terribly in the exits I make. As well as my family, I have many dear friends with whom I always love to talk. I’m very dear to my animals, so if I can make a natural trip with my family, friends and animals, it’s really magical. Reading is one of the activities that make me think that I won’t be able to read all the titles I want.

How would you describe yourself as a person?

I see myself as a joyful, empathic person with a lot of energy and “warm” with those around me. I can say that I appreciate very much what I have, love my life, and take every experience step by step, trying to understand the point of that experience and what I can learn from it. I’m glad I can see the positive side of every situation, I’ve worked a lot with me on that side and I’m very good to catch it.

What are the principles that guide you in life?

I have often felt that “man sancts the place,” and not the other way around. I even saw organizations where colleagues did not understand each other, and after a certain time since a new colleague came, things have gradually started to change for the better. We all have the power to engage well in what we do, the choice is on us. We can leave a “footprint” over what we do, or we can let the dust wait.

How do you see the future of the company now?

ASCENT is the kind of company that feels very well the pulse of the market, but also the needs of the customer and manages to be, often, even a step forward. This is one of the premises for which I see the ASCENT in a continuous ascent and with the ‘antennae’ open to everything new and future.
