Minimum wage changes from 1 July 2024

From 1 July 2024, the minimum gross basic salary guaranteed in payment increases from 3,300 lei to 3,700 lei gross per month.

From 1 January 2023, the minimum gross basic salary per country guaranteed in payment shall increase.

From 1 January 2023, the minimum gross national guaranteed basic wage increases.

According to Law no. 135/2022, starting with the incomes related to June 2022 and until the end of 2028, the minimum gross salary for the fields of agriculture and food industry will be at least 3.000 lei per month.

As of 1 January 2022, Government Decision No 1071 entered into force for the establishment of the minimum gross basic salary per country guaranteed in payment.
