Meet our team: Virgil Aldea, Managing Partner Ascent Sibiu

It’s time to tell you today about Virgil Aldea, our colleague from Sibiu. Virgil is part of the 8-year Ascent Group team and is managing partner of Ascent Sibiu for 3 years, managing over time to increase the firm’s reputation on the market. His expertise on the part of the recruitment also recommends him as a very good specialist in this field, an interesting field, involving in addition to knowledge and the flair of “reading” the man.

What can you tell us about you?

I graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication in Sibiu and a Master in Human resources at “Lucian Blaga” University. At first I activated for a short time in the press field, as well as photo-reporter on Media Pro. Then I was caught by the “microbes” of the HR, which once inoculated, did not let me, and it became very clear to me what I want to do further.
I find myself lucky, because I like what I do, the interaction with people and the business development side are like a puzzle that always needs to be arranged, and that doesn’t allow me any time to getting stale.

How do you spend your free time?

Leisure time is always “tailored” around the family, we like to ride, to make trips in the forest, to travel to always enjoy interesting experiences. I am a “eater” of military literature and history, as well as of SF movies.

How would you describe yourself as a person?

I am a sociable person, open and always curious. I am results-oriented, meticulous and empathetic, but also firm if the situation demands it.

What are your principles of life?

Hard effort, self-confidence and team confidence, patience, honesty, constant knowledge accumulation are the elements that constitute the recipe for success. My professional motto is a replica from a movie “I win, I never lose, that’s my job, that’s what I do!”

What motivates you at work?

Even if the area of human resources is a demanding one, I like very much this area. At the end of the day, when you have completed a recruitment project and your company manager calls  to thank or stop you on the street to thank you for helping find a job, the satisfaction is great. You feel your contribution to the world.

How do you see ASCENT in the future?

Ascent Group is the company in which the man sanctifies the place, we are atypical to other organizations, we price the human factor and we do not discount the company’s values. Innovative spirit and professionalism will be the main features that will guide us from now on.
